Seattle Pacific University's MODE fashion club holds a yearly fashion show featuring work by the apparel design and merchandising students. The 2023 show's theme was "Artful Expressions", where we were asked to create designs around anything we found artistic and felt inspired by. I chose to base my designs around the "textures" in human anatomy, such as muscle formation, bone structure, and vein patterns. I find the body to be an incredibly complex and beautiful thing and I wanted to portray it as art through my designs. Below you will find the inspiration and final designs from this show.
